Modern representatives of the RS line from the Audi brand
Combining all-electric efficiency with stunning performance - and unmistakable looks - the Audi Sport, the e-tron GT quattro and the RS e-tron GT are the stars of Audi's all-electric lineup. Today we would like to tell you a little about them.
Travel without limits!
The E-tron GT may be a pure electric vehicle, but it is also a real GT. The RS e-tron GT can travel up to 283 miles on a single charge, and the e-tron GT quattro up to 298 miles . You have the opportunity to charge the car at home overnight, and on the road, the 93 kWh battery can be replenished at ultra-fast DC charging stations at speeds up to 270 kW. The E-tron GT charges from a 5-80% battery in about 36 minutes using a 150 kW charger.
PREPARE FOR ELECTRIC TAKE OFF
Activate the launch and the e-tron GT quattro will deliver 530 hp. and accelerate to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds. Go even faster in the RS e-tron GT with up to 646 hp. in startup mode and acceleration time from 0 to 62 in just 3.3 seconds. As such, it is not only the first all-electric Audi RS, but also the fastest result for an RS in the Audi range.
MODERN QUATTRO
There are two electric motors, one at each end of the car, that send power to all four wheels. This is a completely new take on quattro, Audi's world-renowned all-wheel drive system that was first developed for rally and road cars in the 1980s. For the e-tron GT, Audi aims to take driving dynamics to a new dimension with versatile air suspension and rear-wheel steering for increased agility.
THE SOUND OF THE FUTURE
The E-tron GT not only looks futuristic, it sounds the same. Both the e-tron GT quattro and the RS e-tron GT have a special synthesized external sound that gives quiet electric motors an audible presence. A unique sci-fi style soundscape is also available. The interior speakers in the cabin, known as the e-tron Sport Sound, create a pulsating frequency that changes pitch as you accelerate or decelerate, as if something were being picked up by some kind of antenna from deep space.
ACTIVE AERO
Electric cars don't need traditional air intakes, but the front end of the e-tron GT is still inspired by Audi's signature single-frame grille, only here it hides the sensor network. There are adjustable air intakes in the fins under the headlights that act as active aerodynamic devices, opening to cool the electronics or direct air to the front brake discs.
ECO-TECH FABRICS, FIGHTING FOR ECOLOGY
Along with the traditional upholstery, the e-tron GT is also available with a leather-free package that includes a material called Cascade, which is made in part using fibers from recycled plastic bottles and textiles. On all e-tron GT models, the rugs and rugs are made from Econyl, which is 100% recycled nylon.
